Cop9885 Posted March 9, 2024 Posted March 9, 2024 (edited) Hi everyone I hope someone can help me interpret and troubleshoot what's going on with DCS. I play using a Pimax Crystal with the latest firmware and software for it. I have the latest Nvidia driver of 55.1.76, but DCS has been crashing with previous Nvidia drivers as well. I have also tried setting the pagefile as recommended, with no joy. The Open XR drivers are also all up to date. HAGs is also turned off. DCS is the latest version as of today. I have also renamed my original DCS openbeta file and let a new one be created. The crashes vary from just a crash of DCS and a pop up widow for the recording of a log file, to a full crash/restart of my PC with a loud annoying screech. These crashes only occur in VR. My system specs are : i9-12900ks 128gb ram Windows 11 build 22621 22H2 Geforce 4090 This is the latest log file from a crash this afternoon, which I have absolutely no clue as to what it says. dcs.log I hope someone can help. Thanks. Edited March 9, 2024 by Cop9885
Nuggetz Posted March 9, 2024 Posted March 9, 2024 I would check your Device Manager. Go through each of your USB trees and HIDs and check that Windows has not ticked the box to allow power to be turned off under Properties and Power Management tabs. Once you untick any offending boxes this will stop your problem which affects the headset which in turn causes DCS to crash. HTH. Ryzen 9800X3D, MSI RTX 4090, 4 TB SSD, 64GB 5200 MHZ DDR5 RAM, MSI 670E Motherboard, Pimax Crystal. Buttkicker Plus, WINWING Rudder Pedals & F16EX Throttle: FSSB-R3-MKII ULTRA Base/TMWH Joystick: DCS: F16C.
Cop9885 Posted March 10, 2024 Author Posted March 10, 2024 All of them were set to allow power to be turned off. Fingers crossed that's the issue. Thanks for the help Nuggetz
