Weapons! Please!

I bought the game a couple of days ago, and i'm learning fast. Awesome.

 

The problem I have, is with the weapons. I'm really struggling with weapons selection, locking onto targets, and firing weapons. For some reason the keys dont seem to respond. I think i'm skipping some of the steps, or something. If anyone can just give me a short description on this, it would be greatly appresiated. I'm playing in "Game" mode, for now.

View the tutorials over again. Your manual is in your lockon/documents (or doc) folder, along with keycards.

I will, thanks. Also, does anyone know whether the in game tutorials are for Game mode, or for Simulator mode?

Since its not an arcade game u need to be within specific parameters before u plane allows u to shoot. Take the time to watch the training movies and learn the buttons ;)

 

edit: are u talking about black shark or lockon?!? for bs you are in the wrong forum part

Hi,

 

if you're in Game mode, you're probably playing Black Shark (helicopter) and not Lockon/Flaming Cliffs (jets), I don't remember there being a Game mode in Lockon/Flaming Cliffs.

For Black Shark, the Producer's Notes are a great help. Also for Black Shark, the manuals are in the "Doc" folder, under "\Eagle Dynamics\Black Shark\". IIRC, there's a separate manual for the Key Commands in Game mode.
