Replays with Ctrl + * not being recorded

Has this been disabled in 2.9? I used to be able to do F3 flyby view and use Ctrl + * to zoom in close to the flyby. It currently is not being recorded in the edited replay. It works when I'm editing but in the saved replay, its just showing the normal flyby view..
