Hello,

Intel i9 64gb RTX 4090 rig (Alienware R15) that's really having no issues running DCS World.

One anomaly myself and others I fly with have noted is sometimes we get some random cut outs, for a brief second or two.  It doesn't affect our Discord conversations and I can't seem to spot in the task manager or the FPS details any blips when this happens.  Meaning, I don't see this being a performance lag/pause from the cpu or gpu.  It'll happen for a brief second or two - fine - a few minutes later it may happen a couple times.

I know this report sounds more like a bigfoot or ufo sighting - not much data or proof!

But my squaddies suggested I post it here.  I mentioned it on a Facebook post a while back and a few others chimed it, noting they experience it too and can't seem to nail down the source.

So - I thought I would mention it here.  Again, it only seems to affect the background engine noise for me.  In the F-16 and the A-10A.

I have the same issues. Sound quits for some seconds from time to time for no particular reason. In my case the complete sound is affected: engine, comms, etc. Everything else runs fine meanwhile.

My system is quite powerful - 9800X3D, RX 7900 XT and 64 GB - so that should not be an issue.

For what it is worth, I installed Process Lasso and that seemed to really help with this issue.

Granted my system is an Intel i9 so I am not sure how much it would do for that AMD processor (which I wish i had gone with!)

Here's the link https://bitsum.com/

I think Spudknocker did a YouTube tutorial on how to set it up.
