Harley Davidson Posted March 27, 2024 Posted March 27, 2024 I've tried with 1300Lbs of fuel and thats it! can hardly get the thing off the ground. I have no issues like this in other maps... Anyone else experiencing this?
rob10 Posted March 28, 2024 Posted March 28, 2024 What airport (mainly elevation matters) and what temp? A lot of the NTTR airports are at a much higher altitude than most of the other maps which could be messing with it. And of course higher temp will also make it harder to get off. I don't have the Harrier so I can't speak from experience on it. 1
Harley Davidson Posted March 28, 2024 Author Posted March 28, 2024 Tonapah test range I was trying to take off from, I also out the temp down to 6*C I haven't tried Edwards though
rob10 Posted March 28, 2024 Posted March 28, 2024 That's at over 5,500 ft. I know on the Sinai map that helo's have issues at St Catherines at 4,200 ft (more a startup issue in that case IIRC). Likely not enough air to get enough lift to lift off vertically. 2
