Unable to communicate with JTAC, tanker, AWACS w/o easy comms

I am having an issue that I have been experiencing for about 2 months.  Unless I enable easy comms, I cannot communicate with JTACs, tankers,  or AWACS.  I have verified both of my radio comms (in the F-18) match the frequencies of the individual aircraft I am trying to talk to.  They never respond to my calls.

When I enable easy comms, they do.  With easy comms enabled, I verified the freq they are responding to matches what I have in my comms and they are programmed to.  No joy.

This is in both a mission I created in ME as well as a Liberation campaign I am running.

Anyone else have this issue?

You're likely using the same key in both?  Probably "\".

You need whatever you have bound under "COMM switch - COMM 1 (call radio menu)" (or the COMM 2 version) for non-easy comms.  By default they will be RALT + \ and RCTRL + \.

Interesting.  I do use the "\" for both on my ME computer.  I will upload the mission to my game computer and see if the same thing is happening.

I tried it on my computer using the comm switches on my HOTAS.  Works as advertised!  Thanks!
