tribbin Posted April 14, 2024 Posted April 14, 2024 For our MiG-15 pilots a sustained low-speed turning rate is our biggest advantage in fights. Since the last big update, the mechanics have changed and a prolonged sustained turn can lead to a sudden G-lock. Hoggit-people who don't read questions and don't think keep referring to the F-16 changelog information, which makes no sense for an aircraft without a G-suit. The description in the changelog somehow implies that the direction of your turns during g-warmup matters, which gives me the impression that it is some mythical combo you have to do to unlock G-resistance. What are the variables and 'formulas' for G-resistance, for aircraft with and without G-suit? 1 Crystal Light • TM AVA • TM Warthog set • TM PTR • RX6950XT • 5800X3D • 128GB F-86 • F-4 • F-5 • F-16 • F/A-18 • P-51D • UH-1H • L-39 • Yak-52 • MiG-15 • MiG-21 • Mi-24 • Mi-8 Supercarrier • Syria • PG • Sinai • Nevada • Kola (refunded) Christen Eagle II <-- Fix the annoyingly short engine sound loop (https://forum.dcs.world/topic/199243-lawn-mower-engine-sound/?do=findComment&comment=5389028)

Now we need a little fanfare or coin ding sound to signal the player that the improved G resistance has been unlocked. Jokes aside, yes, we need more specific information on how this is working now, but I guess we'll have to test it ourselves. 1
