Revenge Campaign mission 2 - the mission doesn't seem to give the time to start up the hind manually.

I tried the mission today and I started up the Hind as I did in the tutorial etc.

The problem is that I had barely started the 1st engine that I had the "cleared to take off" message and the 218 telling me to join him.

by the time I had finalized the start up and I managed to join up with him, he was already shooting at the enemy column.

I am not sure if its a time trigger or something but it felt like the mission isn't giving the time for a human to do the process.

Also I had 218 talking to me on the radio before I even had the battery turned on (not mentionning the radios)

 

Am I the only one having this issue?
