I have played without any issues for quite some time. I really enjoy flying the f16. I have a x56 hotas and thrustmaster rudder pedals. I recently did a full windows reset and format on my computer and I've finally gotten around to getting dcs back up and running. I have gotten all my keys mapped again like I like but for the life of me I cannot get the throttle in game to work. The game recognizes the throttle moving under the "thrust" tab in axis commands. It is inverted as for some reason my computer wants it to be backwards now. But ingame there is no throttle movement what so ever forward or back. I'm not sure what else to try at this point. Nothing else is mapped to thrust. I've never had any issues until now. Not sure if recent updates have messed with things? Any help would be appreciated.

Hm, that sounds as if several USB devices are sharing a signal port and there are problems with recognition.
First, remove all USB devices except for the mouse, keyboard, and throttle. If the throttle then works correctly, connect all other USB devices one by one and see if the behavior changes and with which device.

Are all drivers installed?

Deactivate the device SW, so you can be sure, there isn't a conflict coming from that part.
