SD-10 Time of Flight (TOF) late / not changing enough

Hi,

Altitude or speed changes from my own aircraft or the target's aircraft doesn't change the TOF significantly to make the TOF really useful, here's an example using an altitude difference :

In all three setups below, own aircraft is JF-17, flying at mach 0.9, TGT is M-2000C co-altitude, flying mach 0.9, locked at 20 nm, will have no reaction to incoming SD-10s (no evasive maneuvers / chaff), SD-10s are launched without loft

First setup :

JF-17 flying at 40k FT, TOF is : 22s, missile impacts 30s after launch (8s late)

Second setup :

JF-17 flying at 30k FT, TOF is : 22s, missile impacts 33s after launch (11s late)

Third setup :

JF-17 flying at 1k FT, TOF is : 24s, missile impacts 39s after launch (15s late)

As you can see, there is a small difference in TOF depending on if you are high or low, but the difference is too small, even at very high altitude the TOF is still pretty late and unreliable, and it's against a non-maneuvering target that's flying straight like it's the case here.

Is it possible to make the TOF more dynamic and precise, to make it less redundant in BVR timelines please? (If it's realistic of course)
