WSO Controls/Enable?

pretty much the title. i cant seen to get the Antennae to actually work with my Hotas, or any keybinds in the backseat for that matter, HOTAS or K/B. this is in SP so far for reference. also, i notice the WSO controls in the list are marked [temporary], any clue what this means? 

I wonder if theres some other setting i have to check to enable WSO control. Thanks anyway!

You are fighting Jester and he is overriding what you are setting.
These temporary WSO controls for the pilot are for the case that you want to use the Pave Spike TGP or control the radar with Jester disabled.
With Jester enabled, you can not control the radar simultaneously. Use the Jester actions to work with him and let him do his job. Or jump into the backseat and do it yourself :)

I see, thats what i assumed since in the front seat itd snap back. but you say jump into the backseat to do it myself. well thats exactly where im going with this lol, i cant seem to figure out how to work it from the backseat, unless that kind of WSO capability is strictly a Multiplayer thing.

That stumped me for a bit, too ... there's a separate control profile for F-4E-WSO.  When you jump into the back seat in-game it switches to the WSO profile.

Now, if I could figure out why the glare shield won't toggle ...

What do you mean by toggling the glare shield?
