Praetor Augustus Posted May 29, 2024 Posted May 29, 2024 (edited) tl;dr - Milsim-lite squadron recruiting Hornet pilots of all skill levels. We fly on Thursdays @ 8:45 US Eastern. VFA-161 Fightin' Stingrays are a virtual US Navy squadron recruiting F/A-18C Hornet pilots. We have a training pipeline if you’re new-new, or a system of checkrides if you’re an experienced pilot. We’re milsim-lite, but we try to strike a balance between serious in the jets and not-so-serious the rest of the time. We have available slots for 4-6 new pilots to start training on June 6. We have workups planned for July-August, followed by a 12-14 week cruise with missions and events that play out like a campaign (history of the region, an actual storyline, etc.). We fly missions on Thursdays @ 8:45 US Eastern on a private dedicated server. The rest of the time we keep a version of Pretense loaded, and you can always find someone to fly with.
