mrsylvestre Posted May 30, 2024 Posted May 30, 2024 Pretty happy with this phantastic module, even though I do have a minor issue in VR: when calling up the jester Wheel in VR, it opens centered on top of the HUD, as it should. When opening the manual, it opens to the right of the cockpit and is partially cut off. Defining an offset (e.g. -500) in the special menu brings back the manual close to the centre of the cockpit/HUD but then, the Jester wheel is offset to the left. Using "use DCS resolution" in VR options for VR mirror, tried left eye, right eye and both eyes, doesn't change the behaviour. I understand I might try defining a specific resolution, but which one should I pick? The VR rendering one, the DCS resolution used for the VR mirror or something else? 5800X3D - 64GB DDR4 - Samsung 990 PRO SSD @ PCI 4.0 x 16 - 7900XTX (6950XT for posts before May 2025) - Pico 4 (VDXR)
Solution Zabuzard Posted May 31, 2024 Solution Posted May 31, 2024 Cutoff issues in VR can be fixed by selecting:Use DCS System resolution, BOTH EYES, a graphics resolution that isnt too low /such as FULL HD), then resetting our HB UI special options that you might have messed with, and then (mandatory) restart DCS for the changes to take effect. In the meabtime, ED is working on a fix for the ubderlying cause of the issue :)
mrsylvestre Posted May 31, 2024 Author Posted May 31, 2024 Thank you for the advice. I managed to find a resolution and offset where both Jester's wheel and the manual appear in different but sensible places. It helps that the manual windows can be dragged around. Looking forward to ED's fix. 5800X3D - 64GB DDR4 - Samsung 990 PRO SSD @ PCI 4.0 x 16 - 7900XTX (6950XT for posts before May 2025) - Pico 4 (VDXR)
