f10 map and AI when spwan into mission

Hi there,

trapped in the F10 map view issue when starting a mission. Already tried setting an exception in my antivir (windows) for the whole DCS folder. Also got no mods installed. The new patch and reinstalling the module didn´t help.

Very grateful for an any advice / help,

What mission(s) are you trying to run and how are you trying to start them?

Do you enter F10 and then get stuck?

Does the mission briefing screen appear?

Can you share your dcs install path and saved games path? There can be issues with non standard characters like chinese or smart quotes and similar in it.

Hi Hornblower,

i tried two of the single missions that came with the module (Nevada and Persian Guls maps). I also tried two single missions which I set up with the mission editor, just putting one F-4 on the ramp (cold) on the Nevada and Marianas maps. The mission briefing screen appears, when I click on start I don´t change into an in-cockpit view - it goes into the F10 map view (screenshot). AI is in control then and I can not change into F1 cockpit view.

So, no - I don´t go into F10 map view and then get stuck. I´m struck from the beginning.

Hi Zabuzard,

the path of the dcs install is: D:\Spiele\Steam\steamapps\common\DCSWorld (--> Steam install folder)

the path of the saved games is: C:\Users\User\Saved Games\DCS

So non standard characters shouldn´t be an issue. I added an exception for both folders in my windows antivir.
