SuperTonique Posted July 5, 2024 Posted July 5, 2024 Hi ! At the center of the Delivery Mode Knob is a push button libelled "Nuclear Push to Jett". This push button is usable with the mouse on the screen. I'd like to give an assignated key on the keyboard but I can't find this "Nuclear Push To jett" button in the controls list. Is anybody knows how is named this push button ? Thank's for help !

There is no bind for it since it wouldnt do anything. Nuclear weapons are not planned, so you also cant jettison them. Hope that makes sense, cheers Edited July 5, 2024 by Zabuzard 1
SuperTonique Posted July 5, 2024 Author Posted July 5, 2024 Understood ! Thank's ! I can't understand the reason why its possible to push it if it would'nt do anything... May be in the future. A mystery... The F4 is a very pleasant airplane to fly. Have nice flights !
Solution Zabuzard Posted July 5, 2024 Solution Posted July 5, 2024 Well, the knob, if clicked, would release any stores on pylons marked by ground crew as nuclear store (using a special pin). Since you cant load nuclear weapons and there is no one putting in that special pin into any of the pylons, clicking the button simply doesnt do anything. Like, if you would jump into the real Phantom with a non-nuclear loadout, you could also click the button and it just wouldnt do anything. So thats why its clickable, its correct behavior. The problem with offering binds for stuff that doesnt do anything is that when we eventually come around to implement it, it would break backwards compatibility and you would have to reassign your binds. So we rather not offer such binds 4 1
