I'm seeing reports of nerfed framerates but I was seeing higher, at least until I ran a Bodo replay and found it was actually nerfed, so I investigated and found that the LOD slider now has a huge impact on FPS, it would appear that 0.7 is the new 1.0.

On a different note, the new canopy rain droplets in my hind are mesmerizing.

I was going to comment/make a thread on a framerate issue but not a nerfed one, but instead, an improved one. All day yesterday CPU usage was at 40-50% as the GPU was not used at all which I thought was weird. In the Apache, with all settings on their max with the exception of preload (set at 74200) and chimney (5). The resolution set at 3840x2160 DLSS and DLAA with DSR at 1.78x DL with 0 smoothing. In the sole mission, instant flight, in Afghanistan, I was hitting the capped FPS of 115 with no dips while in game.  Same for any caucus mission when pre-patch I'd get highs of 115 with lows at 85, post patch it's 110+.

But then this morning I noticed I had an option to go up to 5461x2880, and while everything is super sharp and clean, DCS is now reporting about 60% GPU to about 30-40% cpu usage and a solid 115 (the capped amount) fps with zero dips.

I'm like what's going on here? Haven't tried rain yet
