toebone Posted July 16, 2024 Posted July 16, 2024 I have tried everything I can think of with my rudimentary knowledge of PC's. I began having some crashes at random times during online play. Sometimes just after taking off, sometimes much later. I have also had my PC completely shut down and restart a few times. I deleted all of my save game folders and it fixed it for a while, but it slowly crept back. Today I totally deleted and reinstalled with no change, and then deleted my saved games again. This fixed it until about ten minutes ago when it crashed again. One theory could be my power supply. I am running a 750 with a 4090, and an i914900kf, and 64 gigs of ram (all recently upgraded except for the PS). I feel like this may be my problem and wanted to see if I could get some opinion there. I think I may go with a 1000 watt regardless, but if this is likely to fix my problem id like to know. I will also attach my dcs log to see if anyone can see a problem there. I have been quite frustrated lately and would like to get this sorted! Thanks to all, Nathan "Toebone" dcs.log
rob10 Posted July 16, 2024 Posted July 16, 2024 I'm sure other's can give you a better answer from the log, but if you're getting repeated shutdowns that would usually suggest a hardware issue and power supply does seem like a good starting point. 2
