Setting Year in Quick Mission

Is there a way to set the year for quick mission generator?  All I see is for setting time of day.  Even when I select 'Historical' it doesn't help.  Trying to make quick missions for the F-4, and it makes it 2009 with MiG29's.    I'd like the 60s-70s with historical MiGs, and if I have to go to mission editor to change it all, why bother - no surprise anymore.
