kuschmu Posted July 28, 2024 Posted July 28, 2024 Since the most recent update my control assignments which were so far stored in config input folder "F-86F" are somehow corrupted in that some assignments were deleted/overwritten and a redefinition of the missing assignments results in an extra config input folder "F-86F Sabre". What's wrong here ? 1
Ghost79 Posted July 29, 2024 Posted July 29, 2024 I had to completely remap my controls for the Sabre after this latest patch. The aircraft seems bugged in a few areas too... The lack of sound in the cockpit, wrong gun sounds, nose wheel steering has become over sensitive and the feel of the flight model seems... different. Youtube channel @Flightenvy680
Solution kuschmu Posted July 31, 2024 Author Solution Posted July 31, 2024 Well, about my control assignment problem I found an easy remedy: I just emptied the newly created "F-86F Sabre" folder and restored the config files from a recent "F-86F" backup into that "F-86F Sabre" folder and voilà, I got my assignments back . Finally I also got rid of the (now useless?!) "F-86F" config input folder. Btw, I wasn't aware about of other bugs in the Sabre, e.g. the ARN-6 switch and dial ... but I hope that they will get fixed asap !
bb5000 Posted July 31, 2024 Posted July 31, 2024 For me it seemed that my mappings were moved to the FC4 F-86 so I loaded the profiles from that folder.

Funny story ... I assume that you have/installed the FC4 Sabre which I do not have. That may be why you have an "FC4" folder for the F-86F and I don't. Besides, my first suspicion was that my problem had to do with the addition of the FC4 modules. So, obviously there are extra dedicated folders named "FC4 whatever" for these modules, but why should that have an impact to the HF modules and their input config folders? Cannot understand
