daniellegraham Posted July 30, 2024 Posted July 30, 2024 I limited the framerate to 45fps. The screenshot shows my game latency is 22ms rock solid in menu. If I release the framerate lock, the latency can be lowered as 13ms. With the same setting, I can gain 10ms in game. So, it seems that the main menu has a performance issue. Can I disable the big plane behind the menu?
Qcumber Posted July 30, 2024 Posted July 30, 2024 Why are you using a rate lock? Try running full 90Hz and max out your frame rate. Your other latencies look good so if you can manage a 10ms game latency you're winning. I listened to your suggestion and the latency is now 13ms which is still a number in yellow.

av8orDave Posted July 31, 2024 Posted July 31, 2024 This has been an issue for a bit. Ever since it started rendering the carrier in the background of the menu, the performance has been horrendous. My solution has been to not use the Supercarrier theme as my menu background.
