Flogger23m Posted August 1, 2024 Posted August 1, 2024 (edited) Seems like the DLSS option no longer works for me since the update with the new launcher. It is greyed out in the settings menu. Is there any work around for this? Performance in VR is too low to use without it for my PC. In the launcher itself, it shows DLSS is working, but there appears to be no anti aliasing in game and the performance itself is quite bad, which makes me think DLSS is not working at all. When accessing the graphics menu in game it is greyed out, irrespective of what the launcher settings menu shows. Edited August 1, 2024 by Flogger23m
rob10 Posted August 1, 2024 Posted August 1, 2024 (edited) That sounds like you are ending up running in ST rather than MT. Check the bottom right of the main screen once DCS has loaded and make sure it says "multi-threaded preview" (or something similar) before the version name. Edited August 1, 2024 by rob10
Flogger23m Posted August 4, 2024 Author Posted August 4, 2024 (edited) It does not say multi threaded preview. How do I enable that? I know DLSS used to work prior to the new launcher being released. Okay figured out the solution. Go to: Eagle Dynamics\DCS World\bin-mt Find the DCS.exe. Create a new shortcut. That seems to fix it and launch correctly. Even when using the new launcher, it will still launch into the MT version. Not sure why they defaulted it to ST with the update. Was wondering why my frame rate fell by 50% or so.
