[NO BUG] F4 causes DCS to crash

Hi,

 

Whenever I try to fly the f4 DCS crashes. It doesn't get as far as loading up the f4.

Happens both when I select a single player mission for the f4 or if I select to fly the f4 in a multiplayer mission

It was working fine until the latest patch

I'm playing in VR (quest pro) on windows 10 using steam

I've validated the game files but that hasn't helped

"update ur c++ 2015-2022 to 14.40.33810.0 should fix it. https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/cpp/windows/latest-supported-vc-redist?view=msvc-170#latest-microsoft-visual-c-redistributable-version".

This worked for me.
