matumomatumo Posted August 12, 2024 Posted August 12, 2024 Hello. I upgraded to version 2.9.7.58923 and now DCS will not launch, even though it was working until last week. Specifically, it works up to the launcher, but after clicking LaunchDCS, the splash window of "15YearsofDCS" appears, then the window appears on the entire display, the progress bar at the bottom of the screen advances to 74%, and then it stops. After an hour, the situation was still the same. The freeze occurs on both 64Bit and 32Bit. I have renamed the DCS folder in the UsersFolder to NoMOD status, removed all DLC, and performed a "Verify integrity of game files" on Steam, but the situation has not improved. dcs.log dcs.log.old cef_log.log
paripi Posted September 23, 2024 Posted September 23, 2024 I have a similar problem. I use two monitors. I display the cockpit in Helios on the main monitor. When I start the launcher, the opening horizontal sky screen appears on the DCS monitor. Up to this point, it's the same as before the upgrade. Next, when the main menu screen appears, the menu is not displayed properly on the DCS monitor. For example, only half of the DCS monitor displays the main menu image, and the menu is not displayed. In another case, the main monitor and DCS monitor are used as one screen and the main menu is displayed. In this case, the menu is displayed, so the game can be run. I'm having trouble figuring out how to display the main menu correctly on the DSC monitor.
