pimax 5k and base station

help,

in PiTool from a while, the base station  doesnt connect with hmd. I tried changing channel, a, b or c, in base station

i reinstalled Pi tools but nothing happens

Any suggestions?

Are you still using Pitool or Pimax Play?  Use Pimax Play, much better and stable.

Is the base station showing a green light?  Do you see the base station icon flashing in Pimax Play?

Do not use channel B or C, only use channel A if you are using only one base station.  Channel A provides 60hz refresh rate and a much smoother tracking.

Good news and bad news

PimaxPlay doesnt change nothing

In HTC forum find a complex procedure to reset firmware, doesnt work neither

At the end i solved the problem in the easeist way, thanks to a youtube  video from Robertsmania:"Pimax not tracked on startup"

This is well known issue called the "pimax dance", we (pimax 5/8 owners) all have to do this most of the time.  Good it was easy to fix.
