VTOL = ENG EXC

Now lately when I VTOL land the AV8B, even when I turn on the water, I always boil the engines. And I don't understand why. It never happens to me. What am I doing wrong? I keep the temperatures below 645 all the time even on landing and only on final I have maybe 710-720 (within a minute max) which should still give 10-15min. And after landing I always have ENG EXC
