cantalice Posted November 9, 2024 Posted November 9, 2024 Hello, I have an x99 + 64 gb of ram + 4060 ti and I use a quest 2, a lot of the time my GPU stays at 50% but at some point it stays at 99% and starts to crash and I restart the card drivers with win + crtl + shift + b and it even improves but it remains at 90% and it happens when I open the map and go back, it just crashes a lot. I had an inferior card and I managed to get a satisfactory result and I bought this one to improve the experience but I'm not getting the best configuration, inside the cabin it's ok but when I make a turn or something like that the scene freezes as if it were passing in slow motion and low fps. If there's anyone to help me. Tell me the debug and game settings. I already use oculus tray tool.
sleighzy Posted November 9, 2024 Posted November 9, 2024 Attach your DCS log file for this occurring. Will be C:\Users\username\Saved Games\DCS\Logs\dcs.log (or just a text document named “dcs” if Windows is hiding file extensions). Attach a screenshot of your Oculus Tray Tool settings. What resolution do you have set? Do you use any other OpenXR tools etc? Can you also attach a screenshot with the DCS performance overlay open, believe it’s Right CTRL + Pause twice. AMD 7800x3D, 4080Super, 64Gb DDR5 RAM, 4Tb NVMe M.2, Quest 2

I will do this, it happens almost always, in the Oculus application I put it at maximum but I did this with my 1650 super too and it didn't cause any problems, in the game some things are on high but shadows, clouds and forest are all at minimum or disabled, I use 1024 in the first configuration and use dlss, I see videos of people with a lower card and running much better, I myself with a 1650 super, although lower quality, had a very clean delivery, as I said I start playing with the card at 40/50%, then this crash starts when I make turns, when I look forward it's ok, but I look to the side of the cockpit and the ground, the scenery passes by freezing, very strange.
