rob10 Posted November 30, 2024 Posted November 30, 2024 Just a heads up for anyone changing the "winwing interval" setting in the wwtexport.lua file -- even with "Close the modification of export.lua" checked (and in fairness this is a different file to that), it will replace the original WW version of the wwtexport.lua on launch of SimAppPro. You'll need to set it to READ ONLY or your setting changes won't stick. For those who don't know, adjusting the winwing interval at line 19 in the wwtexport.lua in the saved games/scripts/WWT folder can increase performance by not checking for input/sending output to your WW devices quite as often. I suspect (don't have it so I can't say) that keeping this to the defualt of 0.03 might be important if you're using the stick shaker functions, but if you're just using SimAppPro for syncing lights on A-A/A-G buttons or display on the UFC you can change this to a higher number (0.3, 0.5, etc play around and see what works for you) to reduce any performance drag you might get from having SimAppPro running. Changing it may reduce your refresh speed on UFC etc, and if you get too high you might miss button presses, but mostly you don't need that precise of instant response anyway for the items it's used for. 1
