Predator-78 Posted December 3, 2024 Posted December 3, 2024 I just received my two displays and mounted them according to the instructions. After activating them, I immediately noticed that one of the displays has a red color effect on the background and it is noticeable even when the screen has a solid black background. What could be causing this? CPU: 12th Gen Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-12700K 3.60 GHz - DDR4 64,0 GB - MSI RTX3080ti - Win 11 64bit
Wostg Posted December 3, 2024 Posted December 3, 2024 That sucks - tried different usb ports? Same balance in displaylink software / windows display? 1 I can think of nothing heavier than an airplane I can think of no greater conglomerate of steel and metal I can think of nothing less likely to fly
Predator-78 Posted December 3, 2024 Author Posted December 3, 2024 Yes I tried different USB ports and I always get the same result. As soon as I turn on the PC the image is ok after a few seconds this red color effect appears. What do you mean by software display link? 19 minuti fa, Wostg ha scritto: Che schifo: hai provato diverse porte USB? Stesso equilibrio nel software DisplayLink/schermo Windows? Wostg Posted December 3, 2024 Posted December 3, 2024 Update your displaylink drivers from https://www.synaptics.com/products/displaylink-graphics/downloads Get the Displaylink manager app from https://apps.microsoft.com/detail/9n09f8v8fs02?launch=true&mode=full&hl=en-gb&gl=gb&ocid=bingwebsearch In the Displaylink Manager app you can change the brightness and contrast and maybe some other settings. Its worth trying. Try swapping the cables between each monitor? Then try Winwing's support system. Some people don't like them but I've found them helpful. 1 I can think of nothing heavier than an airplane I can think of no greater conglomerate of steel and metal I can think of nothing less likely to fly

Vale la pena provare. Prova a scambiare i cavi tra i due monitor? Allora prova il sistema di supporto di Winwing. Ad alcune persone non piace, ma io l'ho trovato utile. Yes cables exchanged, I followed your advice but nothing has changed for now... I hope it is not the faulty monitor. Tomorrow I will open a support ticket. 1 CPU: 12th Gen Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-12700K 3.60 GHz - DDR4 64,0 GB - MSI RTX3080ti - Win 11 64bit

Raiden Posted December 17, 2024 Posted December 17, 2024 Hello, have you found the solution? Do you know what the problem is? Did you get an answer from WW technical support? I have them too, fortunately I don't have that problem, but I just want to know if it happens to me one day...
