Bahger Posted June 24, 2009 Posted June 24, 2009 (edited) I don't get this. After working hard to master this bird in training missions, I got very good at constant trimming, to the point at which I could hold a hover, hands-off, with trim alone. When I tried a mission, however, the trimmer wouldn't work at all, resulting in extreme nose-up attitude without constant forward pressure on the cyclic. Obviously I will not be able to progress in this sim without resolving this particular problem, can anyone advise? (BTW, I also noticed that the mousewheel zoom does not work in Mission mode either). I have trim mapped to the pinky button of my CH stick but neither the button nor the keyboard trim command (T) will work in a non-training mission or Instant Action. Trim works perfectly in Training. I'm in Simulation mode. Is there some kind of pilot assist that needs to be manually set in a Mission that is preset in Training? I'm distressed about this as it invalidates my hard work in learning to fly the helicopter. Help much appreciated. Edited June 24, 2009 by Bahger
connos Posted June 24, 2009 Posted June 24, 2009 I had the same issue. Do the following. Disable force feedback from config/producer.cfg. For me force feed back is only working with the missions and that disables your Trim, the return joystick to centrer.
