No launch no update

i can not launch or update  no matter what i try i make no progress

Try adding your entire DCS installation folder as an exclusion in your anti-virus software and then restart your PC. Next run a slow repair of the game and try again.

thanks  but we finally got to the resource management  and shut down that open file and the update went through and launch was good . we had a hell of a time finding that file.

Yeah it can often happen when your antivirus software is holding onto it, which is why we recommend a restart of the PC, and also excluding it from antivirus so it’s not held onto or deleted. Glad you got it sorted. Happy flying!
