FPS big drop when taxiing with Plane Directors

Hi All. 

 

Playing in VR usually FPS I'd generally 72fps. Occasionally 35fps around Incirlick Airport.

 

Now taxiing on carrier with plane directors drops to 9fps and slide shoe. Fine once launched and flying

 

Anyone else experiencing similar. Any help would be very much appreciated 

 

I have RTX3070 and 32gb
