14700k vs 9800X3D 1% lows in DCS

I'm building a new pc for a family member to also play DCS and was wondering if there is any information on the 1% lows between the 14700k and 9800X3D in DCS?

I have seen some older information that the AMD chips are inferior at 1% lows in DCS, but I know DCS has had some updates for AMD chips and was wondering if this has changed?
