Otulf Posted December 23, 2024 Posted December 23, 2024 (edited) Hello! I was ordered to log in but I can not type @ to my e-mailadress wich is my log in? It is not possible to write @ in any of the two fields. (See attaches screenshot from the DCS launcher) Howerver @ works in all my other programs and applications!? (As well as here) This is EXTREMELY ANNOYING since I am unable to launch and play DCS!!!??? I have already run a repair... Best regards: Otulf Edited December 23, 2024 by Otulf
Arctic Posted December 23, 2024 Posted December 23, 2024 You must log in to the store and DCS with your username, not your e-mail address. However, the username in the store or in DCS does not have to be the same as the one you use in the forum. You could possibly use the “Forgot password” function to get access to your account again trough your mail.
Otulf Posted December 23, 2024 Author Posted December 23, 2024 (edited) Hello Arctic! Thank you very much for your reply! I have tried to change password to a password without @ also but the problem remains. My username for log in is/was my E-mailadress and my password also included an @. I had Sooo many mods installed so I am right now doing av "vanilla install"... I will keep on trying according to your recommendations... I wish you a Merry Christmas! Otulf Posted December 23, 2024 Author Posted December 23, 2024 Hello again! After a "Vanilla install, i still can not login, due to the fact that I can not type in @!? I have changed password but mu login is my E-mail adress and It can not be changed!? HOW AM I SUPPOSED TO LOG IN? It worked just perfectly yesterday!!! Best regards: Otulf
Solution Arctic Posted December 23, 2024 Solution Posted December 23, 2024 Merry Christmas to you too! It is possible for me to enter an @ sign in the DCS login window. However, I don't use the launcher - it could be different there. In the store, however, it is also possible to enter an @ to sign in and to change the user name as well... This is probably the easiest and quickest way for you to solve the problem. Best regards 1
Otulf Posted December 23, 2024 Author Posted December 23, 2024 Thank you so much Arctic! I will try. Best regards: Otulf
