Mangrove Jack Posted December 29, 2024 Posted December 29, 2024 I am considering getting a 2nd monitor to show DCS on. Current research seems to be showing what I want to do as being problematic for me. Currently on Windows 11 and have a 2K monitor. If I go with a 2nd monitor it will need to be on my left and I would like it to be the non-primary. I also want to leave the primary, working as it does now with the taskbar and all that stuff so that I can use Discord and office docs for references whilst on DCS on the non-primary monitor. Does anyone know if this is possible to achieve? Intel i7-7700@3.6GHz 16GB NVIDIA GeForce GTX1060 6GB

I used to run a 2 monitor setup on a 3 monitor machine, using only the middle monitor (Main Windows monitor, but used in DCS as monitor 2), and the far right monitor (@nd Windows Monitor, and primary DCS monitor). So ya, if that matches what you're asking, yes it does. Pic for even more clarity/confusion null I'm not updating this anymore. It's safe to assume I have all the stuff, and the stuff for the stuff too.
Mangrove Jack Posted December 29, 2024 Author Posted December 29, 2024 Thanks for info. For your example - I would be wanting monitor 3 as primary windows screen and monitor 2 (as 2nd monitor) for the DCS screen. Just forgetting monitor 1 was there as it's a 2monitor setup.
