goot66 Posted January 4 Posted January 4 I've installed 2x MFDs with Displays on my computer In DCS the displays display my left and right HUDS perfectly. None of the buttons on the 2 MFDs work when i press them in DCS However, in Sim App Pro - under "Device" there is nothing shown. Under 'Game Peripheral Display' in Sim App Pro, everything is installed fine How to fix this?
goot66 Posted January 5 Author Posted January 5 (edited) Ok i reinstalled everything and now SimApp Pro detects both and everything is fine in SimApp Pro HOWEVER: In DCS - only my Right MFD buttons are detected if i press the Left MFD buttons, it controls my right MFD How do i bind it properly to control the Left MFD ? In Sim App Pro, i've set both properly - the Left MFD is for the left and right MFD is set as 'Center'. If i select 'Right MFD' as the 'Right MFD' in SimApp Pro, DCS does not recognize button inputs on either MFD screen what am i doing wrong? Edited January 5 by goot66
rob10 Posted January 5 Posted January 5 Are you binding them in the correct column in DCS? And the correct MFD buttons in DCS? There should be a separate column for each physical MFD and in the bindings there are separate binding for right, left and centre MFD OSB buttons.
goot66 Posted January 5 Author Posted January 5 ahh - i thought simapp should auto detect it. i manually bound it and works fine
Zach21GF Posted April 21 Posted April 21 When you say you reinstalled everything, what exactly did you reinstall? I am having the same issue, and am unsure just how much to reinstall.
ARTILLERO_ARG Posted August 27 Posted August 27 (edited) Hi, I purchased the Winwing Mip Legend product, but two of the three UFCs aren't detecting the SimappPro app. Has anyone been able to fix this problem? I'm using Google Translate. Hola, compre el producto Winwing Míp Legend, pero 2 de los 3 UFC no detecta su aplicación SimappPro. Alguien pudo solucionar este problema? SizzlingPopcorn Posted 22 hours ago Posted 22 hours ago Having same issue - MFDs are lit up and can see my Windows background, but SimAppPro only recognizes MFD. Also, it won't recognize either for Game Peripheral Display. SizzlingPopcorn - Fly Higher Together! Your ultimate flight sim community for learning and fun!

That may help in some cases, but isn't an absolute requirement. Mine are not set up that way and I have had no problems.

Mine are not set up that way and I have had no problems. I would agree that it's strange. I got a new gaming PC earlier this year. My three WW MFDs worked fine with the old PC, but with the new PC they kept showing up incorrectly (wrong orientation and positions) after every restart of the PC. I'd go into W11 Display, DisplayLink and SimAppPro to reset them, but the next restart would mess them up again. It was pointed out in the subforum that the three MFD usb cables should be plugged in next to each other in the powered usb hub. I did this and it fixed the problem. I'm not a PC system type, so I'm not sure why where the MFDs are plugged into a usb hub would matter, however in my case it clearly did. I tried asking my IT manager at work, he throw out some techno terms/concepts about how hubs handle what's attached to them and fed to a single PC port... Greek to Me ... but he wasn't surprised that changing the usb positions in the hub solved my issue. PC's (and Windows) are weird (and the infinite number of combinations of hardware don't help). I actually just replaced my gaming computer last spring and no issues with previous or current one. I only make the point that it's not an absolute requirement so people don't think it's the only cause/solution and are confused if it doesn't fix the issue. Some previous posts imply that "you must do it this way". It's a very easy thing to try and check so absolutely a good troubleshooting option, but may or may not be relevant.
