Flextremes Posted February 9 Posted February 9 (edited) I really appreciated Tensors 5090 results, although they were a bit disappointing. I expected more in VR because of its massive VRAM bandwidth improvements: which is needed for super high resolutions and positive effect on 1%. This review actually confirms my expectations. So I am a little more excited and hopeful again about the 5090 (when I can buy it in 2037). Also: in this 4090/5090 MSFS comparison below up to 25%-50% improvements are seen (although not very precisely measured). Edited February 9 by Flextremes 3 1
Winger Posted February 10 Posted February 10 Saw that video as well and am glad to see results as i was hoping/expecting. I have my 5090 at home but sadly cant fly yet because the aero still has a compatibility issue and is not recognized by the card. Thats supposed to be fixed with the next base update wich will hopefully drop soon. Cant wait to finally fly again.
Dogmanbird Posted February 10 Posted February 10 (edited) in vr, i know every frame counts, but 35fps to 49fps (on average) for an extra $1000 - $1500aud if you can even find a card (and only at very high res) ? if it got us to 60+ fps I'd be a bit more excited because of the reduced controller latency or a fps that reprojection can work well with. not yet even sure it will achieve that fps in VR but i might change my mind if they discover some exciting stuff in the 5090 not yet revealed Edited February 10 by Dogmanbird

Dogmanbird Posted February 11 Posted February 11 yeah it's terrible overall in VR. yes, fingers crossed for DCS
