Onslott Posted February 11 Posted February 11 (edited) Hello all, I'm having an issue with my Streamdeck F-16 profile. I replaced my old F-16C_50.lua with the newest one and now my profile won't communicate. Any ideas? I've created a random button to test with the new .lua and that new button won't work. Reverting back to the old .lua doesn't fix this. F-16C_50.lua Edited February 11 by Onslott
Solution Wostg Posted February 11 Solution Posted February 11 (edited) 1) If you're using your own profile a) can I have it b) restore the old lua c) try disabling things that aren't the dcs-exportscript in exports.lua to find any conflicts. Especially try reverting everything to default - I've just noticed one app that requires even the --comments-- around the actual line to be just-as-they-put-it or it won't work. (???) 2) if you're using this profile https://www.digitalcombatsimulator.com/en/files/3331910/ you need to use the included lua file. I don't know if its missing anything from more up to date files, but it works Edited February 11 by Wostg I can think of nothing heavier than an airplane I can think of no greater conglomerate of steel and metal I can think of nothing less likely to fly

I thought all Streamdeck profiles used the same ExportModule .lua for specific module? As far as my profile goes, its actually a number of profiles that I use for the F-16 (and a bunch of other modules). I create multiple profiles for different pages rather than folders because you can effectively swap between profiles without using that back button. It makes navigating everything much easier for me. I would provide an example of the left side of the F-16 UFC profile I use (I'm using 2 Streamdecks), but it is too big to post here unfortunately.
Wostg Posted February 12 Posted February 12 Who knows! Glad its working though Fair enough - I'm using the one linked above, which is pretty complete (via folders) but am going to start mixing and matching bits around shortly.
