Having wingman lase for you

I create missions for the F1 Mirage. Now what i want to create is that a pair of F16 follow me around and lase targets for me. What i can do is:

-they follow me

- they lase when they don't follow me

Both together doesnt seem to work.

Any ideas?

I even tried it with radio trigers to task them to FAC engage group and at the same time to not follow me. This doesnt work either because the plane is too far away pretty quickli.

I basicly want them at my side and lase

 

I could fake it and have an invisible reaper over the areas we go but.... it doesn't feel right
