Swichting to "Online Mode" while Offline with Saved Authorization Quits DCS

When starting DCS while the master server is unreachable it will fall back to offline mode with the saved authorization from a recent login. However, attempting to switch to online mode from the main menu will toggle the icon and shortly after close the game. According to dcs.log, leaving offline mode succeeded (even with an unplugged Ethernet cable ...) but then the game closes without logging an actual error (excerpt, full log attached):

Steps to reproduce:

1. Disconnect your Internet
2. Launch DCS
3. Acknowledge the popups
4. Press Online Mode in main menu
