Gyster Posted March 2 Posted March 2 (edited) Virpil tech support is really, really good. It's Sunday here and Gleb helped me troubleshoot the issue with my throttle. Based only on my description of the issue and some photos, he told me what he thought the issue was, and told me how to verify it using the debugging tool in the configurator. Looks like I'll be replacing the cable that connects the right-hand throttle to the main board. He also provided a video on how to replace the cable. Somehow, that cable causes all buttons to stop functioning and the LED lights to remain on all the time. I truly could not expect a better or more timely response. The problem started last night, and I submitted the ticket at about 10:00 p.m. I received a reply at 4:51 this morning, and started working on the problem at about 9:00 a.m. In less than 2 hours, Gleb diagnosed the issue and explained how I could verify it. This is an example of truly world-class support that I wish others would emulate. Edited March 2 by Gyster 3
Wostg Posted March 2 Posted March 2 Agreed - I had an issue with my rudders that needed it to be taken apart to fix. I wouldn't have done it myself in case I snapped a magnet or a spring or something but they sent me some handy pics covered on ms paint text and I sorted easily. I can think of nothing heavier than an airplane I can think of no greater conglomerate of steel and metal I can think of nothing less likely to fly
