a key on my keyboard isn't functioning properly. not switch, not driver, not keyboard

I posted this on hp's forum, i have a 2022 hp omen. got no answers yet, thought i would ask here as I'm a dcs player. one specific key stopped functioning properly (P) . I have to hold it down longer, then it will register. when i restart it works fine, after some time passes quits working again. First i swapped switched on my keychron, then I bought a steel series.  I updated drivers and tried another keyboard, the one I'm using now is brand new
