Being Able To 'Lock Camera To Aircraft' From A Static Object On Carrier

Using the keypad ".Del" key I can lock to an airborne aircraft from the ground creating a 'air show' view that follows the aircraft.

It's harder to do on a carrier.

To do it on a carrier I can lock from the ship itself but not from a static object.  My video shows that I have used F2 on the Hornet on CAT 4 (with zero fuel so it doesn't go anywhere).  From there I was able to lock my Hornet, flow it around the pattern and land.  With a static object I could place it anywhere and get more interesting angles of the aircraft traps.  I tried using an infantryman but I can't lock him to the camera like I do a static aircraft.

It's a wish list item, but it might not be a large task to allow this . . thanks for considering it,
