DCS crash to desktop without any error message

With winwing MFDs dcs is verry laggy at times and especially when i open F10 map. If i stay in the cockpit or extrnal view i have constant 70fps. everything used to work perfect a few dcs updates ago. Problems start even at the main menu with 2-5 seconds freezes and during gameplay only if i open F10 map or switch to external camera. During freeze the PC stops responding and nothing works including alt tab and mouse movement. I am using syria map and f16 free flight mission. I already run steam integrity check.

After very heavy freeze more than 20 seconds DCS crashes to Desktop without any error message.

What i tried so far with no effect:

Run DCS as administrator

Run in full screen mode

AMD freesync ON-OFF

V-sync ON-OFF

Automatic and manual windows pagefile

Different Maps

Several DCS settings

Just figured out what the problem is.

I used to set fps limit to 70 from dcs options because this used to give me 0 stutters and very smooth gameplay. (With fps limit to off I have 80-100 with stutters)

Right now if I set the fps limit anything below 85-90 problems start to appear with game freeze. I can set fps limit to 300 and live with microstutters but a few updates ago setting fps limit to 70 was working fine.

My monitor is 75hz and the winwing mfds are 60hz

Running DCS as admin is not advised.

In particular as of a couple of patches ago this caused major performance issues with WinWing MFDs. Ensure that your shortcut is not set to run as administrator under the compatibility tab.
