Elevators not working

Hi all, have been flying the lovely phantom with joy for months but recently upon starting up checked controls and elevators/pitch not working.  Functioning ok in AXIS settings and works for all other aircraft so not stick.  Aug switches make no difference, mission restarts, DCS restarts, system restarts to no avail.  
 

first time it happened rebooted and it fixed it but hasn’t worked since.  Again though it works in axis settings and on all other aircraft so not stick.  Updated to latest DCS version today no difference.

 

any advice would be greatly appreciated.
