Hi everyone- Sorry to drag this one up again but I cant quite get it working having searched the threads and its driving me mad!!!

I have a three projector setup with a full cockpit that has a 4th monitor for instruments, trying to use helios to display them in there.

using fly elise to warp the projector images, using immersive calibration pro to do the alignment without a camera...

Ill explain where I am and attach some files- I think the problem is in the monitorsetup lua file...

SO..  I used nvidia control panel to configure the three projectors into a single large display using nvidia surround.

set windows display up to match, with the 4th monitor to the right of the now single projector display.

projector display set to 3072 x 768

monitor is 1366 x 768

ran immersive calibration pro and warped the projectors, got a good image at the end.

then exported the files for DCS, it gave me a load of files.

then ran the main fly elise immersive pro software, which correctly shows the single projector display and a second one to the right which is the monitor.

Right clicked on the projector display and chose the external calibration, selecting the "multiprocalib" file

then went to the "simulators" tab and chose dcs, it showed up the directory paths for the dcs root directory and the saved games/dcs/config/monitorsetup

clicked apply, it stated "applied to files" or similar

HELIOS

setup helios to match the displays using the t45 profile to get going

All looks well- green on all the interface and monitor sections.

DCS

OK, so If i start DCS go to settings in the new  launch screen and choose 3072 x 1024 (bear with me i know thats wrong) and choose the fly elise file under "monitors" then when running dcs I get a perfect warped main game image on the projectors which looks great.  I also have the analogue instruments working on the 4th monitor in helios, BUT no MFD's.....

If I set DCS to the full resolution of 4438 x 768  and choose "Helios" in the monitors option,  then I lose the warping in the main game image but get helios working perfectly with the mfd's displayed

If I set DCS to 3072 x 1024 and use the "helios" momitor option then I have no warping on the projectors AND no mfd's.

I have tried copying in the fly-elise displays part of the monitorsetup lua file into the helios lua file and then using that , but then I get the main game display going across the projected display AND the monitor!!!

Im sure its getting the lua file just right but I cant quite get there!!!

Any help with this appreciated....with the lack of fly-elise instructions Ive been fighting with it all for about 6 months!!!

Regards

Les

Ok, so chatgpt tells me I should definitely be using the "singleprocalib" file, despite the fly Elise instructions....as the multi file is for using multiple PC's linked together.  Ill concentrate on this route

I've managed to sort this out now- thought I'd leave a post for anyone struggling with this.

Main problems- fly Elise instructions are minimal and some are just wrong.

Windows tries to be "helpful" and changes display settings which you don't always notice

Fly Elise.

Which file to use? If you are using a single pc, then it's the "singleprocalib" file

If using multiple PC's networked together , then use the "multiprocalib" file.

Once you have done the warping calibration and are back in the immersive pro software, go across to the "simulators" tab and click apply.  If you make any changes, including changing to a new or different calib file, then you have to go back to that tab and click apply again- took me a long time to realise this and the simulator tab isnt even mentioned in the instructions.

Dor dcs, desktop warping must be on, this is the opposite of what the fly Elise Instructions tell you, again took me a long time to realise that

Once the desktop is good, go to dcs.

Dcs settings

Set resolution to the full amount to cover all your displays and monitors....layout can make it easier or harder to sort out your Helios stuff but it doesn't really matter.

Full screen tick box- this appears to make no difference at all....

If anyone is struggling, please reach out as I know how painful it is

Looks like you a great setup now!!

My last hurdle is fov I think. No matter what I set the FOV limit to- it won't go out beyond 140' so on our 180' screen  it means that the edges are not quite right.

For now I've taken to using the multiprocalib file for aircraft which don't have mfd's and get the perfect view, then for mfd aircraft load in using the singleprocalib file and accept the slightly worse perspective
