Reservoirdog Posted Wednesday at 04:24 PM Posted Wednesday at 04:24 PM Hello I am trying to get my MFD’s to work for the f-18. For the life of me I can’t get it to work. Everything says it’s been completed and done. But when I load in it’s like it added the main display along with the other three displays as one big screen. See the pics. Is the lua file jacked? Was I supposed to download other 3rd party software?
PacFlyer23 Posted Friday at 10:29 PM Posted Friday at 10:29 PM (edited) Hi. I am no way any close to be an expert on WW MIPs, but did eventually get mine set up. I followed MustangSally's MIP Setup videos exactly - awesome help. I noticed you have "wwtMonitor" selected instead of "winwing" and also running a wwtMonitor lua script. I have a Samsung display and three WW MIPs, and no need to run any lua scripts for them. If I understand his Part 3 video, your wwtMonitor lua may be in conflict with the WW program DCS is trying to run at the same time... J4ckson Posted 12 hours ago Posted 12 hours ago (edited) Your wwtMonitor.lua looks correct, besides for the main displays x is set to 23 instead of 0. But this is not the cause of your MFDs being totally off. For the MFCDs the x and y position als looks correct in the wwtMonitor.lua. There is another file worth looking at: Go to the path and look for appSettings.lua C:\Users\[your username]\Saved Games\DCS\Config In there the "coordinates" of each display is set. I am sure there is something off with yours. In this thread it is explained. Scroll down a bit to the appSettings.lua part.
