Some guide it home. The 77th “Black Cats” Training Squadron is now recruiting Enlisted Personnel to serve in vital ground and carrier operations. You’ll be part of the backbone that keeps our Corsairs in the sky and our pilots sharp for combat in the Pacific. ⸻ ✪ Positions Available: • Air Traffic Control Keep the skies safe. Direct takeoffs, landings, and mid-air coordination with precision and professionalism. • Deck Spotters Monitor the flight deck, direct aircraft positioning, and ensure safe operations during high-tempo training. • Takeoff & Shutdown Crew Assist with startup procedures and engine shutdowns. You’re the first and last hands on the aircraft. • Landing Signal Officers (LSO) Guide pilots onto the carrier deck with your signals and instincts. One of the most respected roles on the deck. • Radio Personnel Maintain communications between aircraft, control towers, and ground operations.
