paul2437 Posted July 7 Posted July 7 (edited) I am using the Pimax Crystal Sim latest Pimax Play latest Nvidia Drivers on rtx 4090 I9 14900kf 64gb 4800 ram. Also use Pimax XR 0.4.4, Quad views 1.1.3 and quadviews companion. At 72 hz constant flickering across the centre of view within the headset at 90-120 hz no flickering at all. Checked cables and connections etc. I have just come back to DCS and didn't have this problem before. Has anyone else had this issue and is it just a Pimax software rollback? Thanks. paul2437 Posted July 8 Author Posted July 8 I will give 120 a go. Are you running process lasso? Is that medium high settings or low to medium? For DCS in Nvidia control Panel I have ultra latency on and maximum performance on.
Solution paul2437 Posted July 9 Author Solution Posted July 9 The Issue was latest Nvidia driver. Reverting back to 566.36 solves the problem but starts a whole load new ones stick to latest driver and use 120hz locked to half framerate.
nephilimborn Posted July 14 Posted July 14 with all the nvidia driver issues over the past 4 months i have stayed with 566.36 and had no plans on upgrading anytime soon (4090), just use dlsswapper for the latest dlss dlls; curious as to what new issues are avoided by installing the latest driver? i7-13700KF; RTX-4090; 64GB RAM; Quest3 & PimaxCL; Virpil CM3 + VKB Gunfighter Mk.IV MCE-Ultimate + VKB T-Rudder Mk.Vl; Windows10 (F*ckOff W11)
