1.0.1 Activation Problem

Accidentally installed 1.0.1 Eng over 1.0 Rus Online Download version.

 

While messing with the game not being able to start, I held Shift and got the Starforce screen in Eng, instead of Rus. And it failed to Deactivate the game.

Failed to Activate with my Serial as well.

I lost all of my Activations.

Please send me a reply with a solution or more activations.

 

I really want to get back to flying the chopper with the new patch now!

Yes and yes.

The patch is available for both version.

I downloaded the correct patch for Rus version also.

It did install, but activations got screwed up somehow.

Starforce became English and not Russian.

 

I used it to Deactivate the game, and Deactivation was complete it said with 8 Deactivations left. It also said I could now reinstall the game and use my Serial again with it. That's what I did.

 

I completely uninstalled the game. Removed all folders.

 

Installed Rus Online 1.0.0, did NOT launch the game, then applied 1.0.1 Rus Online patch correctly.

 

Now, it says:

 

Unable to launch the application due to integrity fault of the Activation Key. Re-enter a valid Activation Key or re-activate the application.

If the error recurs, press "Error report" and send the report to product technical support.

 

I sent the Error report to the Support email.

 

This is really annoying, but I can deal with it, like in LockOn, as long as I finally am able to fly.

 

I was supposed to have it installed on two of my computers, so I could host on one and fly on another, but now none of them are functioning...

Ok now I tried manual Deactivation via the website:

Provided Serial and H/W Code, and guess what..?

It gave me a blank Deactivation Code, Blank Field, nothing in it, but says "please write it down" lmao

 

Something is broken on their side, not mine.

Still says that I have 8 Deactivations left, even though I know I already "successfully" Deactivated it 5 times.

But to do a Clean Install + Patch, which is what was suggested by the developer, I HAD to Deactivate.

 

Anyway, I fixed the problem on one computer by simply erasing the registry entries for Deactivation/Activation. Now it let me Activate it again, but, of course, at the expense of my last Activation.

 

I will still need another Serial or more Activations, since I want it on both of my computers.

You can just uninstall the game without De-activation and then re-install and patch without re-activation and the game will still work and be activated, because this version of starforce doesnt require you to de-activate and re-activate when you uninstall and reinstall the game on the same pc.

 

De-activation is really only for if you want to format or add lots of new hardware to your computer or if you want to install DCS on another computer, you can uninstall and reinstall black shark on the same computer without de-activation and re-activation as much times as you like as long as the criteria is still correct for starforce to allow it.

 

Maybe a game bug that caused your deactivation problems ?

One of the reasons why I always keep entire folder of default DCS and LOFC installation in one nice .RAR archive file, just to bring the game to its clean-state before patching.

.. and the second reason now (I mean 1.0.1) is to keep original files in order to successfull passing integrity check in multiplayer.

Good point USSR Rik. Now there are two good reasons to keep a clean install copy, integrity checks and no hassle patching/activation.

 

After install I simply copy the unmodded unpatched folder like shamandgg. Makes it all a very easy process.

A true Clean Install = Clean the Registry of all signs of the game ever been installed, and not just the files.

 

So, Deactivation is required for the Clean Install.

 

My issue was resolved. Thanks anyway.
