RickJamesBish Posted Saturday at 10:47 PM Posted Saturday at 10:47 PM Tested flying 180 degrees in opposite direction to make sure it was not terrain or clouds doing. This happens flying and on the ground. My FPS does not drop but there is a very apparent jitter. This jitter does not show up in the trackir interface. Running 120hz. Any ideas? TrackIR Jitter over right shoulder video
RickJamesBish Posted Saturday at 11:09 PM Author Posted Saturday at 11:09 PM Tested in both F18 and F16. Same issue of looking over right towards back of aircraft. Jitter is very apparent but smooth when looking over left should towards back. Used arrow keys to look and its smooth in all directions so it has to be linked to TrackIR somehow.

Try physically moving to your left, then looking over your right shoulder. Sounds like TIR is starting to lose signal. Might not be enough that it's obvious in the dots in the interface, but when a small movement starts moving the whole screen you notice it. My TIR LED's are on my right side, so I have my camera on the right side of my monitor (rather than middle) to give it a wider FOV toward the LED's).
Solution RickJamesBish Posted Saturday at 11:35 PM Author Solution Posted Saturday at 11:35 PM (edited) I just went to TrackIR site, like I should have from the beginning. It is a known TrackIR issue with any version past 5.4.2. They have acknowledged it and supposedly working on an issue and recommend reverting back to 5.4.2, which I did and its milky smooth.
